Rodman Lott & Son Farms is located in Seneca County, which is in the center of the 14 counties that make up the Finger Lakes Region. There are eleven gorgeous lakes in the Finger Lakes and Seneca County sits between two of them: Cayuga Lake, the longest, and Seneca Lake, the deepest.

There are over 100 wineries in the Finger Lakes due to the moderate climate the lakes create, which is ideal for growing grapes and other produce. Our wineries offer award-winning wines that have taken their place on the world stage, most notably our Rieslings and Cayuga Whites. Beyond the fabulous wines you’ll find there, you will also find a wide variety of culinary treats, from restaurants and bistros to locally made fudge, sauces and salsas. The wineries and wine trails also host a multitude of events throughout the year, from music festivals to harvest events to holiday extravaganzas.

The Finger Lakes is also known for its incredible farm-grown foods. The Finger Lakes Cheese Trail has eleven artisan cheese makers on the trail and offers a wide variety of cheeses – dairy, goat and sheep. There are huge orchards and u-pick farms, which make for fun family outings. Road stands and farm markets dot the region and you can always find some fresh, in-season goodies to take home with you. And locally grown meats are available at the many farms and through their CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) or freezer fill programs.

With all the fresh ingredients, it’s no wonder that foodies flock to the Finger Lakes to experience our tastes and sample our dishes. Nationally renowned chefs call the Finger Lakes home, and invite you to visit them in their natural habitat, their restaurants.
